Night Sky Metrics builds custom spectroscopic systems with calibration in absolute radiance units. The equipment is based upon the Shelyak Alpy 600 spectroscope. A system integrating optics, detector, control software, and analysis software is produced tailored to the customer’s needs and budget. Spectral resolution, integration time, and data products are fine tuned with the appropriate instruments, data collection procedure, and analysis. A prototype is shown below on a robotic mount with a riflescope sighting device.
